Dear Prospective HCA Parent,

Thank you for considering Heritage Christian Academy for your student. I understand that this is an important decision for you and goes well beyond choosing a school. It is my desire that you get all your questions answered so that you can make an informed decision so please feel free to ask questions at any time. We want you to have confidence that HCA is the right fit for you and your family if you choose to partner with us in the education and spiritual development of your child.

God’s favor has been on Heritage since its start in 2014. We have grown from twenty-six students and two teachers to a thriving student body Pre-kindergarten – high school of over three hundred and fifty and into our phenomenal facilities. When you become part of the HCA family, you find a school staff who cares about your student in all three areas – body, mind, and spirit. You find more than a school; you find a community who partners with you to build your student up in “…wisdom and stature and in favor with God and Man,” just as Christ grew during his time on earth.

I was blessed to be called to be the Head of School at Heritage in 2020 shortly before the pandemic changed our world. During my time at HCA, I have seen the devotion of our amazing faculty and staff to students and families. These have not been easy times, but our faculty has never wavered in their desire to provide a quality Christian education whether it be face to face, virtually or a combination of the two.

One of the things I love about Heritage Christian Academy is that it is small enough to feel like a family, but large enough to offer opportunities for our students to grow into well-rounded young adults. Students can explore their interests through our rigorous academic offerings, our arts program, our clubs, or our athletic program.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at admissions@hcapicayune.com. We thank you for considering HCA and look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into this amazing family.
